I took my aunt out for lunch for her birthday today, and as i am a student who is low on cash i decided to take her to Hawkers Delight. When we walked in there were no more seats left, it was packed with people. We ordered the veggie fritters which were 2 for 1.25 and we were not disappointed. They were served right away with a vinegar base sauce and were crispy. I would definitely recommend the fritters if you go. We ordered mee siam and mee goreng which was amazing! It wasn’t overly spicy that you were crying but it had a subtle punch. If you’re looking for a cheap place that serves amazing food i would recommend this place. Nothing is over $10, and they have a corner where you get your own cutlery, tea and water. Also, i was left full at the end of the meal, which is very rare for me.
