Always wondered why such a cool, old-school place like this was never crowded with hipsters as most retro-looking restaurants are.
Burger & Fries: The burger was good but note that add-ons are extra. I have to admit that the key reason I enjoyed the burger was the grease factor. Bad, but also good. Fries were great, they were perfectly, deliciously greasy, but definitely share them if you’re not a big eater!
Rating: 2/3
Chocolate Milkshake: I have to admit one thing: the milkshake definitely sold me!! Especially the refill tin on the side.

But beware: the prices can add up quick! Sides like fries, additional toppings, and the delicious milkshakes can be costly. A meal for two people eventually added up to around $35.
Verdict: Definitely good, but also definitely not the best of the best. Moderne Burger is just slightly better than average. I’d say this isn’t a place you’d make a trip out to dine at, more like your average, comfy neighborhood burger joint. I’d suggest dropping in to pick up milkshakes instead!

Your comment “suggest dropping in to pick up milkshakes instead!” sums it up nicely. This place serves up the most blandest unseasoned burger ever. Not sure why it’s still around. The interior is cute, but that’s all it has going for it.
