This little place can be found on fraser and kingsway and can easily be missed if you don’t know where to look. I came here a few days ago with my aunts due to hearing very positive reviews from their friends. It’s a small modest place with a small staff. When i went there only 2 people were working, and by the time i left 3 people were working. Everything on the menu was under $10 ($9.75 if you want to be exact). The staff was friendly and helped us pick our food because there were so many selections. We decided to get the pollo pibil torts (slow roasted chicken breast), chorizo con queso burrito (mexican sausage with cheese), al pastor taco (marinated pork with pineapple), cordero al cilantro (lamb marinated in cilantro), and 4 taquitos which i can’t remember. The wait for the food was 20-25 minutes which made me pretty disappointed, but they were busy and only 2 people were working! When the food was brought out to us all disappointment vanished and i was thoroughly impressed with the food. I have never tasted mexican food like this before. The flavour was all there and the best thing was that they had fresh lime cut out and 9 different sauces you could choose from. I got the jalapeño salsa i believe and it had a kick to it which i really enjoyed. If you enjoy cheap and authentic mexican food, and are willing to wait a while for your food i would highly recommend this place. It has a great atmosphere, friendly service and cheap food that tastes amazing, what more can a foodie want! I will most definitely be coming back for round 2 to try the whole menu. It was really busy when we went. To me and my aunts it was the most authentic mexican place we’ve been to.
